The Colombo stock market will be closed on April 1 and thereafter until the COVID-19 curfew is lifted in Colombo, the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) announced on Tuesday.
The market has been closed for many days while being opened during days the curfew was lifted in the capital for a short while. While occasionally being relaxed in other areas, the government has announced an indefinite curfew in Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara with these locations being identified as high-risk areas. (DEC)
