The Colombo’s Stock Exchange saw retailers gaining profits, churning the turnover to Rs.4 billion at Monday's close.
The market was down at close despite the early gains in the morning. The All Share Index (ASI) was down by 0.49 per cent to stand at 6,062.09 points at close with S&P down by 0.56 per cent to stand at 3,190.58 points on a Rs. 4 billion turnover.
JKH stocks saw 23.7 million shares traded with local buying and foreign selling seen as responsible. (DEC)
