Colombo Uni Arts Faculty closed following student clash

The Arts Faculty of the University of Colombo has been closed until further notice following a clash between two student groups yesterday.

The clash had left two students injured and admitted to the Colombo National Hospital. Attempts by the university administration to mediate between the two groups failed and another clash had taken place at one of the university's hostels. As such, the administration has decided to close the university to avoid further unrest.
