Two complaints against Minister Rishad Bathiudeen and Eastern Governor Hizbullah have handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department for investigations, Police said.
The complaint against Minister Bathiudeen had been lodged at the Police Headquarters (HQ) by Ven. Iththe Kanda Saddhatissa Thero, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said yesterday (May 26).
Ven. Angulugalle Siri Jinananda Thero had filed the complaint at the Police HQ against Eastern Governor M L A M Hizbullah, the Spokesman noted.
The CID will carry out the relevant investigations into allegations which have been levelled against these MPs.
