Striking Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) trade unions have been invited for a special discussion this morning with President Maithripala Sirisena.
According to sources, the discussion commenced a short while ago.
The President's Media Unit (PMD) earlier stated that the President had requested striking workers to report to work considering the difficulties faced by the general public, due to their strike.
