The curfew imposed in four police areas in the Gampaha district has been further extended covering a total of 17 police areas as measures continue to detect more COVID-19 patents who were infected from the garment factory in Minuwangoda.
The areas which the curfew has been extended are Dompe, Pugoda, Weeragula, Nittambuwa, Ja-Ela, Kandana, Ganemulla, Malwathuhirupitiya, Meerigama, Pallewela, Yakkala and Weliweriya.
Earlier the Minuwangoda, Weyangoda, Divulapitiya and Gampaha areas were placed under curfew.
