An indefinite curfew has been declared in five more Police areas with immediate effect.
They are Kuliyapitiya, Pannala, Giriulla, Narammala and Dummalasuriya.
The curfew has been declared after the detection of more cases of covid positive cases.
Already 19 other police areas in the Gamapaha district are under curfew.
