Customs staff attached to the Airmail Parcel Section of General Post Office Colombo yesterday (17) detected 1.4 kilograms of Hashish valued at Rs. 1.4 million conceald in a skateboard.
The parcel containing the skateboard has been sent to a Freelance Journalist in Nugegida from Spain.
Customs officials said further inquiries are being held into the case. The person concerned has admitted that this is his second attempt in smuggling Hashish using skateboards, they further said.
