University Students who forcibly broken into the Health Ministry during a protest march this week, have damaged property as well as vehicles to the value of over a millions rupees, Health Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratna was quoted as saying at a briefing yesterday.
He made these comments at a press conference held at the Department of Government Information and according to the government news portal more than 4,000 students were involved in this act.
Minister Senaratna said that in the future legal action will be taken for damaging state property after scrutinizing CCTV footages.
