Parliamentarian Dayasiri Jayasekara today (May 18) appeared before the Colombo District DIG's office to record a statement over the recent unrest in Kuliyapitiya.
The parliamentarian was questioned for nearly three hours before leaving the premises this afternoon.
MP Jayasekara has been accused of allegedly intervening to release certain suspects who were involved in the recent acts of violence in Kuliyapitiya.
