Deadline to apply for University Applications via online extended till June 2
Considering the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country, the University Grants Commission (UGC) decided to extend the deadline for submitting online applications for University Admission for the Academic Year 2019/2020 based on the results of the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination held in 2019, until June 2, UGC said.
UGC Chairman Senior Professor Sampath Amaratunge said that as the situation in the country is progressively getting improved, UGC has decided to further extend the deadline until two weeks after the schools are reopened.
