The death toll following eight explosions in the country has risen to 188, hospital sources said.
Meanwhile, more than 450 people have been injured in these explosions which had taken place this morning.
The explosions had taken place in Colombo, Katana, Batticaloa since morning today (Apr 21).
Further, a total of 11 foreign tourists have been reported dead. The current identified nationalities among the dead include - 1 Polish national, 1 Danish nationality, 2 Chinese, and 1 Japanese national.
In addition, tourists from Pakistan, USA, Morocco, India and Bangladesh are also reported to have been injured in the explosions.
