In the midst of the confusion pertaining to the post of Opposition Leader, MP Namal Rajapaksa has taken to his official twitter handle to say the government's attempt to debate this matter in Parliament was a waste of taxpayers money.
MP Rajapaksa said that UNP led government was more concerned on debating the role of Opposition Leader instead of focusing on the issues of the country.
Once again the @officialunp led Govt. and parliamentary group is more concern about the Opposition Leader’s position than to talk about solutions to solve issues faced by the country. This futile attempt will only waste taxpayers money.
