Deshabandu Prof. W D Lakshman appointed as CBSL Governor
Deshabandu Professor W D Lakshman was apponted as the 15th Governor of the Central Bank today (Dec 24).
His appointment comes following Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy's resignation from the position.
Prof. Lakshman served as the Colombo University's Vice-Chancellor from 1994 to 1999.
