The former DIG of the Terrorist Investigation Department, Nalaka Silva has informed the CID that he would not be present to give a statement today (Oct 16) due to personal reasons.
DIG Silva was ordered to be present before the CID to record a statement pertaining to the alleged assassination plot of President Maithripala Sirisena and Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
