Dr. Sarath Amunugama sworn in as Minister for Special Assignments
Dr. Sarath Amunugama was sworn in as the Minister for Special Assignments before President Maithripala Sirisena today (Oct. 23) at the Presidential Secretariat, the government news portal reported.
Acting Secretary to the President Mr. Sumith Abeysinghe was also present at this occasion.
Dr. Amunugama has held several portfolios including Minister of Higher Education and Research, and Deputy Minister of Finance & Planning.
