A drug peddler, nabbed with nearly two kilograms of ice (crystal methamphetamine), was produced before the Point Pedro (PPD) magistrate court yesterday, the Police said.The suspect is currently remanded.
The 66-year-old suspect, a resident of Valvettithurai, was arrested during a special raid carried out following a tip-off at the PPD town, Jaffna by the Police Special Task Force while he was transporting the cache of drugs in a van. PPD Police is conducting further investigations.
