Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, and the Countess of Wessex who arrived in Sri Lanka to represent her Majesty the Queen at the 70th anniversary celebration of Sri Lanka’s independence on February 4, visited Kandy today. During their visit they attended a special religious ceremony at the temple of the tooth and the Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya.
