Eastern & Western PCs approved proposed 20th Amendment
Proposed 20th Amendment to the Constitution with newly added amendments was approved by Western and Eastern Provincial Councils today after voting process.
In the Western Provincial Council (WPC), it was approved with 45 members voting supportive of the amendment while 28 councilors were against it. The Eastern Provincial Council (EPC) approved it with 24 voting for and 7 against it after heated argument in the council.
