The Election Commission (EC) has called upon all state servants deployed for election duties to fulfill them in a responsible and unbiased manner.
Issuing a statement, EC Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya requested all officers to cooperate with voters, presidential candidates and their agents, during tomorrow’s presidential election.
Dehshapriya pointed out that state servants to work independently without fear about anyone as they would be responsible only to the EC and the judiciary.
