A proposal to include a None Of The Above (NOTA) option in the ballot paper has been received by the Elections Commission, its Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya said.
The polls chief however said that it was a matter which could not be decided by the Elections Commission.
"It is the Supreme Court or the Parliament which can approve such proposals by passing a legislation to this effect," Deshapriya told reporters recently.
