The Election Commission (EC) says it has received more than 2,000 complaints relating to election violence and law violations by yesterday (Oct 28).
These complaints had been filed at the EC's Complaint Management Unit since October 8 after the final list of Presidential candidates had been officially announced to the public.
Among the latest number of complaints, more than 1900 had been of election law violations, while 17 had been based on violence.
