The Education Ministry has denied that any Arabic College or Madarasa which propogates ideologies of Islamic terrorism was operating under its purview.
The Ministry noted that certain individuals and organisations had insisted that the Education Ministry must be held responsible for certain educational institutions which were propogating extremism while being registered under its purview.
While refuting such statements, the Ministry said that there was no such Arabic College / Madarasa operating within the premises of National Schools, Provincial Schools, Private Schools, Schools for those with Special Needs or Pirivena's which were registered with the Ministry of Education.
