Elections Commission ready to conduct any poll which comes first : EC Chairman
The Elections Commission is prepared to conduct any elections which will be held first be it a Presidential or a general election, Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya said.
Yesterday, President Maithripala Sirisena told reporters in New Delhi that the Presidential polls will be conducted on December 07.
Accordingly, Mr. Deshapriya made this remark in Moratuwa while responding to journalists who posed questions regarding the President's statement.
