Elections Commission transfers preliminary election duties to Elections Commissioner General
The Elections Commission (EC) has decided to transfer its preliminary duties of organizing the parliamentary elections to the Elections Commissioner General M.A.C.C. Perera.
The EC in a press release noted that the move will be in effect until further notice.
