The defunct Embilipitiya paper mill will be reopened soon using local Investments, Sabaragamuwa Province Governor Tikiri Kobbakaduwa said.
The Governor expressed these views in response to a request made by Venerable Omalpe Sobitha recently.
Speaking further, the Governor said that it was the main purpose to implement the program "A working country and a prosperous country tomorrow" in Sabaragamuwa province.
He said that with the reopening of this mill, many employment opportunities could be created for young people in the province.
