Former deputy minister Chandrasiri Suriyaarachchi has been further remanded until January 9 over a threatening incident filed against him.
The order was issued when the case was taken up for hearing before the Polonnaruwa Magistrate's Court.
Suriyaraachchi was arrested on December 30 last year for allegedly threatening a businessman by brandishing a pistol and also causing damages to four vehicles.
