Former DIG Nalaka de Silva has been further remaned until April 23 over the alleged assasination plot involving the President and the former Defence Secretary.
The remand order was issued on Mr. Silva when he was produced before the Fort Magistrates Court today (Apr 09).
The decision on whether the former DIG will be released or not was expected to be announced by Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake today.
