Exemplary act by journalist Kanchana Kumara

Journalist Kanchana Kumara Ariyadasa from Dambulla, has returned a bag containing Rs.2.3 million in cash belonging to a Thai woman.

The woman, a researcher, is currently engaged in a study of wild elephants in Sri Lanka and had left the bag at the journalist's house by mistake after she went to interview him. Upon finding the bag, Mr. Ariyadasa had gone to find the Thai national and had returned the bag to her.
