Family of four injured in accident involving Ministry double cab
A family of four, including two children were severely injured after a motorbike collided with a double cab at Uswewa in Anamaduwa yesterday.
According to police, the double cab involved in the accident belongs to the Ministry of Skills Development and Vocational Training. It is alleged that the cab was being driven at extremely high speed when it crashed into the motorbike.
The victims of the accident are a 38-year-old man, his 35-year-old wife and the couple's two children, all of whom were on the motorbike.
They were admitted to the Anamaduwa Base Hospital before being transferred to the Kurunegala Hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the double cab has been arrested by police and investigations are continuing.
