A father of two was stabbed to death in Meesalai, Jaffna today by unknown persons near his house, Kodikaamam police said.
According to the police, the 47 year old victim identified as Iyaththurai Mohanathaas was stabbed by two persons who followed him on a motorbike when he was on his way back home.
He was pronounced dead on admission at the Chavakachcheri hospital. Kodikamam police are conducting further investigations over the incident. (N.Lohathayalan)
