Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera took to his official Twitter handle to confirm that the glitch in the email address publicised previously to send in proposals for Budget 2019 has now been rectified.
The technical issues with the submitted email address being invalid was brought to the attention of Minister Samaraweera when users who tried to submit suggestions via the given email address were being rejected. Users then displayed screen captures of the failed attempts on social media.
Minister Samaraweera who apologised for the inconvenience said the technical glitch had been rectified on his Twitter handle and requested that the same email address be used.

The Finance Ministry yesterday called on all stakeholders and the public to put forward their proposals for Budget 2019. It requested all professionals, scholars, the general public and those who are engaged in the sectors of manufacturing, services and agriculture to send in their proposals before February 11 to the following email bdgtpro@mo.treasury.gov.lk or to the address below :

Budget 2019 will be presented in Parliament on March 05, 2019.
