The Finance Ministry has hinted at a possible increase in fuel prices due to the escalation of fuel prices in the world market.
Accordingly, the revised price of fuel will be calculated using the fuel pricing formula and revealed within the next 48 hours.
Explaining further, the Finance Ministry said the price of a crude oil barrel which was USD 53 when the local prices of fuel were revised previously, had gone up to USD 59.
