Central Bank Deputy Governor S R Attygalle assumed office as the Secretary to the Ministry of Finance today (Nov 20).
Attygalle had previously served as the Secretary to the Treasury and the Finance Ministry for a short period, the Finance Ministry said in a press release.
He once held the position of Director General of the Finance Ministry’s Department of Fiscal Policy and Department of Public Enterprises.
In addition, Attygalle had also served as Director and Acting Chairman of National Savings Bank and a Director at the Regional Development Bank.
