A fire had broken out at a leading electronic appliances store in Mannar at around 9:05 pm yesterday (Feb 12).
Mannar Police who were alerted about the fire had taken swift measures to deploy police officers and firemen to douse the fire with the help of area residents.
However, no casualties have been reported while the cost of the damage due to the fire has not been estimated as of yet.
Police are carrying out investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
