A fire broke out this morning at a factory in Bogahagoda, Galle. Two fire engines from the Fire Brigades of the Galle Municipal Council were dispatched to the scene to douse the flames. The cause for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Galle Police is investigating.

A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
