A fire erupted at a Sathosa outlet in Embilipitiya during the early hours of today, local media reported.
The Police Media Unit quoted by local media said that the fire had erupted at around 6.30am this morning. They added that the fire was a result of an electrical fault.
The fire was doused with the combined efforts of the Embilipitiya Police, the Fire Department and the Ceylon Electricity Board.
The Police said no major damage was not caused to the Sathosa outlet.
