Firefighters of the Kotte Urban Council and the police managed to douse a fire at a tyre shop in Thalangama at 11:45 pm yesterday (Jan 04).
Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunsekara said that so far no casualties have been reported due to the fire. The estimated amount of losses caused by the fire is yet to be determined.
Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the fire.
