Fly Dubai flight delayed at Mattala Airport owing to bird strike
A Fly Dubai flight due to fly back to Dubai was delayed for more than seven hours after a bird strike at Mattala airport yesterday, officials said.
The flight carrying 113 passengers was due to pick up 55 passengers after dropping 20 persons . Engineers eventually concluded a safety check and permitted the flight to leave around 3.00pm
