Former TNA Northern Provincial Councillor (NPC) M.K. Sivajilingam who was arrested along with four others today (Nov 26) for attempting to celebrate LTTE leader Velupillai Prabakharan's birthday has been released a short while ago.
M.K. Sivajilingam along with his associates had attempted to celebrate the birthday by cutting cake opposite the residence of slain LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran.
It is reported that seven people were present at the occasion.
