Former Senior Deputy Inspector General Lalith Jayasinghe was released on bail by the Palmadulla Magistrate yesterday.
Mr Jayasinghe was arrested yesterday on charges of the alleged withholding of evidence on the Kahawatte murder committed by former Deputy Minister Premalal Jayasekara and a group of gangsters which took place during the Presidential Election campaign on January 5, 2015.
