Immigration and Emigration Department officials today (Feb 02) arrested 49 Indian nationals who were employed at a factory in Mathugama while overstaying their visas.
The suspects have been handed over to the Mirihana Detention Centre.
Last month, 24 Indian nationals who were employed at a factory in Ingiriya, were apprehended while illegally remaining in the country.
