Forty-two refugees belonging to 19 families that were living in South India arrived in the country yesterday (Dec 12) afternoon.
It is reported that the refugees who are natives of Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu districts fled the country during the height of the war.
The refugees returned to the country with the assistance of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
