Four complaints have been filed so far against former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen and former Governors Azath Salley and M.L.A.M Hizbullah, police said yesterday (Jun 6).
These complaints have been recorded by a special committee of three senior police officials, and will be probed by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said.
Attorney Indrasiri Senaratne, M.A Asela Sampath and Ven. Madille Panyaloka Thera have filed the complaints before this committee which was appointed on June 4 after the senior state officials quit their portfolios in the government.
Complaints can be handed over to this committee 8 am and 4 pm until June 12.
