UPDATE : One dead, three including child critical in fatal car crash in Hikkaduwa
One person has died following an accident involving a car and a train in Hikkaduwa today (Mar 27).
Meanwhile, three others including a child have been critically injured following the fatal accident.
The victims were admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital following the collission.

Four people have been hospitalised following a fatal accident involving a train and a car in Hikkaduwa a short while ago.
It is reported that the victims who were in the car had suffered severe injuries and are in a critical condition.
