Four suspects who were being questioned by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) following their deportation from Dubai yesterday have been released, Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
The four individuals have been identified as H.A. Gerard, H.A Charitha Pathman, S. Kavindya Silva, P.D. Surantha Perera and Mohamed Waseemdeen.
Meanwhile, Actor Ryan Van Rooyen who was also deported along with these individuals yesterday has been handed over to the Weligama Police in order to carry out a questioning pertaining to the recent discovery of cannabis inside his vehicle.
A total of 31 suspects including drug criminal 'Makandure Madush' were arrested in February out of which 13 have been deportd so far.
