Four Sri Lanka Freedom Party(SLFP) parliamentarians were appointed as Deputy Ministers by President Maithripala Sirisena today. Matara District MPs Sanath Jayasuriya and Wijaya Dahanayake, Colombo District MP Thilanga Sumathipala and Kandy District MP Eric Weerawardena were appointed Deputy Ministers. Dahanayake was appointed as Deputy Minister of Public Order and Jayasuriya was appointed as Deputy Minister of Provincial Councils and Rural Development. Weerawardena was appointed as Ports and Shipping Deputy Minister. Sumathipala is the new Deputy Minister of Vocational Training.
