Four Indian fishermen who were engaging in illegal poaching in Sri Lankan waters 11.8 nautical miles west of Delft island arrested yesterday, Navy said. One of their trawler also seized.
The trawler and fishing gear were brought to Karainagar while the fishermen were brought to Navy base in Kankesanthurai. They are scheduled to be handed over to the Assistant Fisheries Director of Jaffna for legal action.
