A group of naval personnel attached to the Northwestern Naval Command in coordination with the Kalpitiya Police arrested four suspects with 200 kg of Kerala Cannabis on Tuesday following a tip-off, navy said.
Upon questioning the suspects the naval personnel trailed and recovered the stock of cannabis concealed in seven packages in Kaluwarakuda area in Wilpaththu. The arrested persons and the stock of cannabis were handed over to the Kalpitiya Police for onward legal action.
