The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) will record statements from four police officers over a road accident involving parliamentarian Patali Champika Ranawaka in 2016.
A senior CCD official said they would be questioned on allegations of concealing evidence regarding the incident.
Meanwhile, a report on the accident prepared by the Assistant Superintendent of Homagama at that time is also to set to be reviewed by the CCD.
This is because relevant action had not been taken based on the report which had been submitted to the Senior Superintendent of Mirihana, the official noted.
The CCD, which is investigating the incident, will also record a statement from police chief Pujith Jayasundara.
Former minister Ranawaka had been arrested over the incident this month before being granted bail by the Colombo Magistrate's Court last week.
